Before We Arrive:
- Vacuum & clean your pool, and remove all debris prior to your closing
- To ensure your pool water is chemically balanced, bring in a water sample 1 week prior to closing
- Drop-in steps & sand bags must be removed prior to closing
- Salt cell & cartridge filters should be cleaned and stored indoors. We can clean them for you at an additional cost
- Ensure that all equipment, accessories, cover & winter plugs are accessible for our crew
- Ensure access is available through the fence the day of service
What’s NOT Included:
- We do not winterize solar heating systems
- We do not remove drop-in step & sand bags from the pool
- We do not deep clean salt cells & cartridge filters (inquire about our separate in-store service)
- Vacuuming the pool is not included
Please Note The Following Information
- A clear water pool vacuumed before winterization in the Fall is a much cleaner pool in the Spring
- A pool cannot be closed properly without outdoor power to blow out the plumbing lines
- Water left over the winter months that is not properly balanced can cause liner fading, wrinkles & staining issues. We encourage a professional water analysis 1 week prior to closing
- We are not responsible for winter covers collapsing into the pool due to significant water loss in the pool due to a leaking liner that is undetected.
