Cleaning & Vacuuming Your Above Ground Pool

1. Use a leaf net to remove all large debris from the pool.
2. Clean out the skimmer basket.
3. Attach the vacuum head to the pole and the hose then submerge underwater.  Attach the skim vac to the hose and hold it in front of the return jet to push all the air out of the hose. It is important to keep the vac head underwater.
4. Once the hose is full of water, connect the skim vac to the skimmer and check to see if there is suction.
5. Vacuum the entire pool slowly.
6. When finished, disconnect the vacuum equipment.  If your pool had a lot of dirt, debris or algae you will want to clean out your filter system after you vacuumed to prevent the pressure from rising.
